MOTOR MARC NEWSLETTER - 3RD and 4TH QUARTER
Happy New Years to all and wishing everyone the best in 2015.
Thank you for all your friendship and support during 2014. Look out for more adventures in the Motor Marc art world.
I have many new projects on the go with an historic unveiling in February. Seems like I'm always behind bringing out these newsletters but we are extremely busy and our priority is creating new art and completing our client's orders with speedy deliveries.
Let's get started…
MODEL SEARCH FOR THE 2014 STURGIS RALLY
This was a very successful event and thanks to everyone that participated and ordered the Legend Rider Series.
I will be starting the 2015/ Sturgis 75th Anniversary Legend Rider art very early this year, with a huge unveiling in August. Details soon to come.
If you have not ordered your print and are interested •• do not wait •• we are almost sold out of the matching number series.
Sturgis Rally was very exciting. At the Buffalo Chip we were able to raise funds for their charities and had a chance to meet and make new friends such as Jesse James. Jesse may be interested in working together on a project. That was cool!
We were at Black Hills Harley Davidson again with a plan on expanding our gallery's location for the 75th Anniversary event.
Again we will have more exciting details on that in the new year as we get closer to the rally.
HSR/ HIGH SEAS RALLY 2014
Another great event was unveiling the Ocean's Daughter art and limited edition prints. All artist proof / embellished editions are sold out again with a limited number available for the rest of the series.
This was the final painting to my Hidden Treasures series which I started in 2005. For this event when placing an artist proof order you received the Ocean's Daughter book based on the stories related to the High Seas paintings. The book was written by my daughter Melanie with great reviews and we are going into our second publishing run.
To finish the series I created a painting called Treasured Memoirs in which the book was the main focus among the treasures.
We auctioned another Foreigner signed guitar with a limited edition print. We are proud to have raised more money for the Debbie Dialysis Fund through the proceeds from the prints we sell throughout the year.
Thank you to all our HSR friends and new clients that have helped with our success and the charity… Cruising for a great cause!
A HAIR CUT NEVER TO FORGET - A DARE FOR A PRINT
After a few drinks and a dare I never thought the night would come to an end with a friend who willingly shaved half his facial hair and head for a print. So funny my face hurt from laughing so much. Thanks to Keith and Patsy Freeman. The pictures tell it all.
HSR 2015 CRUISE
For the HSR 2015 cruise I plan on working on a new series (clues are in the book).
It will be something very different that will create a big interest in my new collection.
This new collection will be awesome, I CAN'T WAIT TO START WORKING ON IT! If you are interested in attending the HSR 2015 cruise please click here. A great time, a great vacation all for a great cause.
DAUGHTER AIMEE PAINTS
We are proud to announce that our daughter Aimee who is a professional interior designer in Dallas Texas has decided to extend her talents and passion into painting.
She sold her first painting at the 2014 Sturgis Rally and now she can't stop.
All her extra time is dedicated to this. Take a look.
NOW FOR SOME BIG MOTOR MARC NEWS.
I am proud to announce that in the month of September I signed a major contract with C-3 ENTERTAINMENT.
This team will be representing my work and licensing the Motor Marc brand world-wide. This will involve showing more of my art on products as well as many new and exciting adventures to promote me and the art.
Now it is more important for me to stay healthy, play hockey and get on the fitness program. Like always it will be my New Years resolution.
We will have more details on this great venture in the first quarter of this year. Stay tuned.
|MUSIC FINE ART
||FENDER MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS CORP.|
More Big News…
For the last year and a half, I have kept a low profile of my licensing agreement with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. I have been working on a large painting consisting of 32 different licensing agreements. The original print is taking forever to finish due to added detail and my quest for perfection, I am proud to call it Fender Legends.
Some of my best work yet. A print of this type has never been attempted by anyone before.
I was honored when hearing the CEO and licensing manager of Fender calling it an "Epic masterpiece" surely to be an all-time collectible.
We will be having a historic unveiling in February 2015. More details to come very soon.
If anyone is interested in reserving a numbered print out of 32 artist proof original art / embellished please do not hesitate to call the studio.
We have sold and reserved some already without it even being unveiled.
A MUST FOR COLLECTORS.
This was a painting I always wanted to create due to my love of their music. Inspired by a close friend, Dan Inverarity, I was able to paint this great band.
The painting was very well received and was also presented on stage to Roger Waters at the TIFF / Toronto International Film Festival.
Roger received a copy of the print and was very grateful. The premiere of his film The Wall, was a success.
I thoroughly enjoyed painting my idol for my Music Fine Art collection. The house rattled with the music blaring and the creativity flowing trying to create this piece. Seeing him live in our home town, my wife and I enjoyed an amazing three hour concert and were able to give him a print that I was so proud to have created.
CHEERS FROM MARC
That is about all for now. Again THANK YOU all and I'll be keeping my painting passion adventures alive.
Wishing you and your loved ones a great new year.
