Belle Isle Grand Prix
Motor Marc Lacourciere unveiled a special metal art that was presented to Roger Penske on Saturday, June 4 at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
The unique creation features IndyCars racing on the streets of Belle Isle set across the distinctive Detroit skyline and featuring the Team Penske 50th anniversary logo unveiled earlier this year. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder will jointly present the large metal art piece to Penske during opening ceremonies Saturday before the first Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans Verizon IndyCar Series race of the weekend.
This is to commemorate the 50th year of completion for Team Penske in 2016 and will be mounted and placed in the city of Detroit, Locations will be determined soon.
